Bet The Preakness With Winners



The Preakness Stakes – the 2nd leg of the Triple Crown – will take place at Pimlico Racecourse on Saturday, May 15th. Preakness Day is preceded by the Black-Eyed Susan – a grade 1 race for fillies & mares – on Friday, May 14th at Pimlico Racecourse. You can watch & wager on both events with Winners online wagering, at a Winners location or over the phone with Winners phone wagering.

First Post at Pimlico on Friday, May 14, will be 11:30am. Pimlico will offer a 14 race card including the Black-Eyed Susan (Race 13) which will post at approx. 5:44pm.

Advanced Wagering

Advanced wagering will be available on the Preakness Stakes (Race 13 only) from Pimlico at all Winners locations + online & phone wagering starting Friday, May 14.

Pimlico will offer special two-day wagers combining races from Friday & Saturday – Black-Eyed Susan / Preakness Stakes Day.

The Black-Eyed Susan / Preakness Double

Wagering will be offered on the Black-Eyed Susan / Preakness Double, a Daily Double wager combining the Black-Eyed Susan Pimlico (Race 13 Friday) and the Preakness (Race 13 Saturday).
This wager ($1 minimum) will be available on Friday until post time of the Black-Eyed Susan (5:44pm) on Friday.

Closed from 19th after breaking slowly, to finish 4th in Louisville . He scored his lone career win in the Kentucky Jockey Club Stakes at Churchill Downs last fall.

This horse who originally sold for only $ 1,000 last year wired the field in Louisville to capture the 147h Run For the Roses He’s won all 3 races where he made the lead, and finished second the 3 times where he did not. Note that the official Derby results are pending, following the news that this horse tested positive for an excessive amount of an anti-inflammatory medication.

Unraced as a two year old, he’s the most inexperienced horse in the field, with only 3 lifetime starts for top trainer Chad Brown. He will make his first start outside of New York, coming off a third place finish in the Wood Memorial at Aqueduct.

One of two horses in the field owned by Klaravich Stables, a perennial leading owner on the New York racing circuit. These connections won this race in 2017 with Cloud Computing, Colt by Medaglia d’Oro captured the Withers Stakes in February at Aqueduct., his only career stakes score.

#10 CONCERT TOUR 5/2 | 4 Races 3-0-1 $856,600 | Mike Smith | Bob Baffert

One of two horses saddled by trainer Bob Baffert, who has won this race 7 times. He’s tied for the all time record with R. Wyndham Walden, who won his between 1875 and 1888. This colt had won 3 consecutive races, including the Rebel Stakes, before tiring late and finishing third in the Arkansas Derby.
